I cant say enough about this vet. I have been going here for over 15 years. My lab has a chronic condition that requires reqular visits to the vets. Dr. Forrest, Dr. Entwistle, and Dr. Ferrareo are the most outstanding vets I have ever come across. They truly love animals, and their office support staff are always friendly and helpful. Dont go anywhere else these guys are the BEST
Having been a pet "mom" my entire adult life, I can say that hands down, Dr. Entwistle is one of the best vets I have ever seen. For starters, she is exceedingly likable. I appreciate her clear and straight-forward way of conducting appointments. Bringing two dogs with different health issues into one appointment slot can be a little confusing, but she effortlessly keeps up with my barrage of specific questions. I feel totally confident putting my pets in her care. Additionally, we had good experiences with Dr. Forrest, who performed surgery on our dog, who needed a mast cell tumor removed. A year and three months later, our dog is healthy, active and doing very well.
If I could give this practice 0 (zero) stars, I would. Extremely difficult to deal with, they had the wrong number for me so they kept saying they called but never did. Wanted to do a boat load of tests for a simple issue. When I chatted with the vet about the procedure and asked for another option she said, and I quote, "I do not feel comfortable with that". I suspect this is a commissioned based practice so the vets are encouraged, even incentivized, to "pad" the bill. Would not recommend to anyone, ever, in my entire lifetime.
The staff and veterinarians have always been patient, kind and accommodating to us and our three dogs. I appreciate their detailed visit summaries and e-mail appointment reminders.
Called to check a price on a neuter for my dog. They won't give prices over the phone, want you to come in for a consult with a doctor to discuss options. Sounds like a money hungry practice to me... No Thanks! Paw Prints in Waldorf was glad to help and every other vet in town had no problem giving a cost.
